Hi Everybody
As you know, the unfortunate closing of Chubbys Club LasSalle in early
January left us Punkin
Holler Boys without a place to have our Third Friday of the
Month PUNKIN HOLLER NIGHT show. We had been playing
TTFOTM at Chubbys since
1999 and many good folks were used to it (I wince when I think of those who
have shown up,
only to find The Bar At The Center of the Universe boarded up).
After four months, countless beers and not much effort
on our part, we are
pleased to announce that we have found a new home!!!!!
Starting Friday, May 21 The Punkin Holler
Boys will be hosting THE HELLBILLY
HAPPY HOUR at The Historic Melody Inn on TTFOTM. For those of you who are not
familiar with The Mel., it is the best venue for live original music in
Indianapolis. Dave the owner is a true
music fan, smart businessman and a heck of
a nice guy. Those young whippersnappers The Drunken Deacons have been
hosting
The HH every week for a couple years now, and have graciously offered us
TTFOTM so they can rest-up or play
out of town. Thanks Sean, Zorba, Rich, Uncle

When asked how much money he thought
he would loose in this endeavor Dave
Brown, Melody Inn owner said "The Punkin Holler Boys are the perfect replacement
for The Drunken Deacons."
The Hellbilly Happy hour starts at 7pm and ends at 9pm, there is a $3 cover.
